Is CAFI anti-national ?

Is CAFI anti-national ?

Post by winnie_the_pooh » Mon Dec 28, 2009 3:01 pm

The web site has images of armed indian soldiers and the cover of the book written by Binalakshmi Nepram has the photo of a woman wrestling away the rifle of a soldier who is clearly a Gurkha of the Indian Army. The attempt to use a photo of a memorial to commemorate the valor of Manipuri women against British oppression to push forth their own agenda is disgusting

Do they want to disarm the general public leaving them at the mercy of criminals followed by the disarming of the Indian Army and para military.Where do they get their funds from?

Have a look at this page

They obviously have no problem in lying as well read this

There are more regulations in music and film industry but none in arms
She obviously has not heard of the Indian Arms Act

I do not hear of any such organization in Pakistan or China

people in CAFI are the reason people like us have headaches...!
what point are they trying to prove ...???
i have gone thru the ATT(arms trade treaty) which is more aginst the illegal arms trade (international) and supporting the cause of implementing stricter laws for arms trade...
however , (forgive me if i sound fiercly agressive) these are the people who just make a babal out of a s***... cause they actually dont have the resources as where does these illegal arms come in the grey market ... they dont have the common sense , that even the confiscated gun from a underworld gangster has a "serial number" ... and thru that serial number anyone can track the weapon ...from manufacturing date to the dealer it was allocated to and so on ...sont these people have the guts to take the inituative to track all the confiscated guns (which lie with the cops) ? as it is they are a NGO they have special liberties given by the government ...

its a shame on them for their comment to make arms licensing more stringent due to the few school students shoot-outs ...

CAFI is not only anti National in a very deep rooted manner, it is also anti peace, facist/nazi type organization with a hidden agenda to indirectly help criminals survive and flourish by indirectly promoting an environment of gun free victims for them. CAFI is fully aware that weapons of any form cannot be removed from criminals by legislation. It is a common knowledge that illegal weapons can be manufactured on any lathe machine. The legislation only removes weapons from hands of law abiding citizens. This organization strives on the ignorance of common man about guns and the crime prevalent due disparity of gun ownership between criminals and law abiding. Such organizations do not find any place in countries where there is nothing like "illegal gun" and "legal gun" and 100% of the population is armed. Example is Switzerland, Scandinavian countries etc. The day India will have 100% gun ownership and crime rate is bound to fall with it, as criminals will have to back their crime with their lives, CAFI will be out of business.

I that they are a local front for IANSA but what I would like to know is how they get their funds i.e., who exactly is the funding agency through which they are receiving foreign monies? This information should perforce be available with Min of Home Affairs, as they need to approve foreign donations. Considering that they are vehemently & publicly opposed to the Armed Forces Special Powers Act, and even India's spending on defence etc., it is really surprising that the Min of Home Affairs has chosen them as bed fellows...
