There are some makers in Rajasthan involved in this sort of thing (manufacture of replicas/ muzzle loaders) - I believe based in Jodhpur & Udaipur...

Indian, in Rajasthan
MKS--Udaipur
Rajasthan Armory
Udaipur Gun Works are the few who make replica ML.
In India these are Considered as Replica Guns and they are not intended to fire a live charge Mostly for a display purpose.
For a Functional ML Gun we still need a AL in India.
Most of the Stores in Udaipur, jodhpur and Adjoining MP areas are having stocks of ML guns as they are still very popular among Farmer Community.

Jodhpur
Bhati And Company
Gun Shop
MG Hospital Rd

Anil Bakhtani Arms Company
12th Pal Road

S. Insaf Ali & Sons

Parmanand Rijhumal Banduk Vyapari
Jawahar Khana Rd
0291 262 8724

The Jodhpur Armori
Paota Road

Udaipur

Vishal Arms
16, Pratap Nagar Main Road
098290 41516

Mistry Nasir Muhammed & Sons
2, Pannadhay Marg
098280 43302

Natainal Arms Shop
25, Pannadhay Marg
094142 63104

Apart from them few more shops I have seen in Rajsamand, Pratapgarh etc areas of Rajasthan who advertised that they have ML Guns ( टोपीदार बंदूक).

Regards.

From what I have heard, these are sold as non-firing replicas in India.
After being imported, they are made ready to fire by the importers.
