A khukri
Guys..recently a friend gifted me a khukri. How's it?

It looks pretty but this is more of ceremonial i think..if you dont mind can you click the side view showing the blade thickness .

Thanks ! This khukri has a bit of history behind it. It was used in WWII, by the grand father of a gorkha friend of mine. It has tasted blood. Usually gorkhas are extremely reluctant to part with such, what they consider to be auspicious, khukris, but this was gifted as mark of gratitude with a wish that it will save its bearer from all misfortunes.

For a Gurkha to part with a heirloom khukri, esp one with which a family member has fought, means that you did something really great for him!!
