I was amazed and astonished to see a Danish girl Anita Lerche singing in Punjabi! I could not literally believe my eyes and ears. Surprisingly she sings live without any kind of recording. She appears to be an exceptionally talented singer who has sung in more than 13 languages. Enjoy below one of her videos -

Yes Vikram. Reading or writing in a language that is not your mother tongue is one thing but singing in it with all the inner emotions that go with the song is totally another thing. She learned the language and within three months she was singing the songs. Even not all native singers are able to sing the Waris Shah's classic poem named Heer pretty well. But she has also been able to sing it pretty well.That was so cool.
