Four and a half annas for a pack of Gold Flake!!! What was the average salary then, I wonder!

On a more serious note, wonder how many of those who received this booklet found their way home.

And 50 paise for the first 1.6kms in taxi.....wow.....
Area north of metro was out of bounds for HM Forces.....hmmmm......

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand.
