Making solar charger by solar panel

Post by magnolia » Wed Dec 12, 2012 5:44 pm

Hello Friends ,

I am to recharge four 2000 mAh eneloops at a time within 4 / 5 hrs by using solar panel . But I know little regarding these . Please guide me .

- Which watt solar panel is the best for me ?
- 12v 5Ah charge controller is available here . Is it suitable for me ?

Give a clear picture what I need and how to use them to recharge the cells . May I use a eneloop charger here ?

Few make solar charger by using 6v solar panel directly with the cell holders . Which one is long lasting and better ?

Is there any scope to know when the cells are fully charged ?

I have no knowledge regarding these technical terms . So please answer the practical points only .

Thank you .

You will need A VERY LARGE solar panel for doing that. It will not be economical in terms of money spent on the panels and area required to fit the panel.

Can't help you any further than this.....

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.
