You need to write something that everyone here considers worthy of the title.
If you browse this site and read the posts that "Posters of the Month" submitted, you will get an idea of what has won in the past. Two stories that come to mind immediately are Prashant Singh's captivating story of a man eating leopard hunt and Moin's excellent essay on knives.
After reading these posts and those of other winners, I'm sure you will agree that there are some very interesting, talented, brave, and smart people here on IFG!
