Just saw Banners at IFG and the For Sale section is back!

I think I saw a space for banners on IFG in various sections! These were blank and I guess for advertisements / announcements etc. Seem to have disappeared now. Is it true? Whats the policy etc.? About time I would say!

Also saw the first post in the For Sale section after a long time! Well, Congratulations!! :D

The for sale section was always there... just that (so far) those who had successfully applied for trading access had not put up anything for offer thus far.

Banners were being tested earlier today, hence the blank banner ads you just saw. Paid for advertising will begin to appear on the site very soon, and an official advertising policy will be notified as well.

It was just that I saw a post there after a long time.

No reason why not! I think IFG should start paying for itself. You guys have supported it for a long time. I guess this would not have been an easy task in terms of both time and money.

A wise decision I would say and also good for all those who need instant publicity and sell their wares.

I would just like to add that the sales policy was not intended to stop buying and selling.It was intended to allow only those members who completely understood the rules and demonstrated that understanding and a willingness to abide by them.It may not completely prevent scamsters but it is one more level of protection. If anyone is interested to post there,it is as simple as reading those rules clearly and understand them.
