Fake arms racket busted in Mansa

Interesting thing is that the weapons were marked with international brands also. Is there any reliable way to make sure the big investment someone is making in a foreign weapon is real ?

I have seen Spanish pistols which have been renamed Walther & sold at high prices to unsuspecting buyers. The same is being done to shotguns also. Expensive Laser etching machines are used for renaming the firearms.

ngrewal,

Check out my location. That was just a pun. Anyway, there is a district in Gujarat which is rather infamous for 'duplicate' revolvers.

Probably stamped "Made in Webley and Scott"

... I've encountered "Made in USA" W&S MkIII clones with additional gibberish like "Only for Public supply"... pretty "pro-people" they are :)
