A young shooter who acquired a Renowned Shot status in Big bore at Mhow last year had his application for additional licenses rejected by Commissioner Of Police, Greater Mumbai. The reason and explanation given was that he already possessed 3 fire arms licenses. His Import license for suitable rifle is being processed in the meanwhile. I suppose the authorities expect him to surrender one of his fire arm in order to have the import endorsed on his license.
So much for sports persons.

Re: License rejection
The Indian authorities simply want to pocket as much money as possible. That's why they are doing this!

Re: License rejection
...annoyingly its not always about money.... even upright and 'respectable' government servants can be fundamentally stupid.
Its as simple as that.
