My fine GWP dorg Demi finished her final (4th and 5th) legs of her SH title yesterday and today. 5 legs, six tries (and we have an excuse for the NQ
). Good scores all around. She ran pretty big (she is after all also a horseback FC. She saw horses, and I blew a breakaway whistle), but kept in contact and handled well. Found four birds,and handled and retrieved them all very well.She is now offically (or will be when the AKC publishes the new title) ..FC Jerelyn's Justa Stacked Deck SH.
Next step after a season of birdhunting..MH, which will be harder. Or if I can find some nearby walking trials, maybe more steps towards finishing her Amateur Field Chanpionship . Of course, talking ain't doing, but ..we ARE doing, and making progress.
We may be the first Indians For Guns team members in history to achieve this.
