Hai thanx all for so many solutions ... Catching mother cat can be a permanent solution but I am not having any Idea about how to proceed ...
I am trying timmy's venegar method ... would soon let you know about how it works ...
As of crow, I've heard that if you kill 2 - 3 of them and let their bodies there for 1 - 2 hrs, its smell scares crow away. any way if u don't wan't to kill them then try to put a scare crow on the roof. use catapults

I did try this, brought a big pet dog of my friend but my mom refused to keep it in as it was too aggressive and would have killed the kitten ...

Dont want to frighten you but once a cat chooses a place for littering it will continue to bring all its future litters to the same place
happened at my place for almost as long as i can remember.
Final solution - the mother cat died (snake bite or natural causes i think).

Make a pet out of the cat. Start giving it food, and it will perhaps stop bringing in dead rats, frogs, etc.

Like many animals. Hindus consider killing a cat sacrilege.
There is this funny story I had in my Hindi text book when I was in school.
A man (somewhat in the same situation as our dear friend Ricky) once hit this cat and knocked it out.
Everyone in the neighbourhood came to his house. The local priest was called. The priest told our man that to get over this Mahapaap (sin) he would have to conduct a maha pooja and donate a cat (of the same weight) in Gold to the local temple.
To cut the story short. By the time our man is about to shell out the money , someone shouts: "Dekho Billi to uth khari hui aur bhaag gayi".
While our man is much relieved , the priest goes back disapointed.

Whatever you do to get rid of the cat, please do not do anything cruel(like putting the cat in a bag and leaving at some undisclosed location etc.)that may cause trouble to cat or her kitten. Following seems to be the best option:
Make a pet out of the cat. Start giving it food, and it will perhaps stop bringing in dead rats, frogs, etc.

LOL and make his house its permanent abode. m24 the cat is introducing meat to its kitten by bringing in the rats and frogs.

Any idea on pigeons? The buggers nest in the balcony, lay eggs, and the kids keep eating and shitting... And my kid is too tenderhearted to let anyone throw the eggs!!! And I am too tenderhearted to use a .22 on them!!
Cheers!

I have seen this work at times, and at times not work: Get an owl decoy. Most birds are quite upset by owls, and don't like being near them if they can avoid them.
Pigeons aren't terribly smart, but crows and ravens will generally figure out tricks...
Of course, if this doesn't work, you can always get in touch with Ricky and get that cat from him. I doubt the pigeons would cause too much indigestion for her.

essdee: call the pest control guys to get rid of the pigeons. They do not kill them or throw the egs etc. They lay out spikes etc so the pigeons do not sit there. See
http://www.pciindia.com to get the number of their local office in your area.
For cats: buy cat repellents in the form of electronic ultra sonic equipment, sprays, sprinklers etc. etc. Easiest way to get these is to buy from Ebay see link:

if it annoys you get it in a gunny sack, add to it one brick, tie the top end firmly, throw it in water, that's the end of all hassles.
Keep these inhumane and illegal suggestions to yourself. Please think before you post in a public forum! Mod.

Spray water on them regularly. It's harmless and they hate to get wet. You could buy one of those 'super soaker' water guns from a toy store. They pack quite a punch. Never tried it but may work. Or use a hose with good pressure.
Always remember that stray dogs, cats and monkeys come where there is rubbish. It's pretty much our fault as humans who keep our surroundings dirty. A clean environment, not jut yours but all around you will solve the problem too. Put pressure on your local politician to improve the rubbish collection and disposal system.
Do a bit of detective work and find out if any one is feeding them. Lots of people do and don't realize that they are causing more of a problem. Talk to these people and reason with them.
No food lying around means no pests!
Hope your problem gets solved.
