None of the police work on taking out the criminals, cause that's means hard work. Instead they poach onto harmless citizens who hold such starter pistols, easy work.

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

Was travelling London-Leicester by train a few months back, some locals were joking about the hyper sensitivity of the security agencies.
One of the guys was heard saying,if things go the way they are today, the day wont be far when we will have to wear our underwear without the ELASTIC BAND.

What else can be expected from a nanny state? Gun control is nothing but a colonial concept to control the victims of violence. We should not forget that historically England was nothing but a colonial country. The colonial tendencies do not get erased so easily from the mind of rulers. Under the cover of providing security they are satisfying the unfulfilled colonial wishes. Will they also ban simple lathe machines etc. if people start churning out real firearms, like being done in India?

In the UK, carrying a knife on your person with a blade longer that 2" is a crime. My brother is a doctor there working with Trauma in a hospital and has seen what a 2" blade can do. Stupid laws sadly later on followed in India. \

Assistant Chief Constable Sue Fish, the Association of Chief Constable's spokeswoman on firearms, said a converted Olympic .380 BBM had "not yet" been used to kill but action was needed because it was so easy to convert.
